Today within the framework of the 10th meeting of the Secretariat held on 20-21 June in Astana, in the Palace of Peace and Accord, the Chairman of the Senate of the RK Parliament, the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions Kairat Mami conducted several bilateral meetings.
During the meeting with the General Secretary of the Ministerial Conference of Islam and Invocation (Saudi Arabia) Majed Abdul Aziz at-Turki, K.Mami highly appreciated the contribution of the Saudi side into the activity of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

The tenth regular session of the Secretariat of the Congress chaired by Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament, Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Kairat Mami was closed today in Astana.
Addressing the final speech to the participants of the session, K. Mami stressed fruitfulness of the session, which confirmed general desire of representatives of different cultures and religions to bring peace, security, cooperation, mutual respect, equality, justice and tolerance.

This year, due to the change of the previous composition of the Secretariat of the Congress, the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Mami is appointed as the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress.
With the view of preparation for holding the fourth regular Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the quality and high level, as well as to continue the constructive dialogue, which had started during the previous forums, the Secretariat is conducting respective activities. |

09.06.2011 – The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to establish the dialogue platform for ten leading economies and countries of the Moslem community based on the World Islamic Economic Forum. |

He said about it yesterday in the WIEF opening. According to him, it is needed for establishment of the new direction in the economic cooperation, and the resources of ummah countries (Moslem community) "allow forming a powerful financial pool for investment cooperation". |
