He was born on July 6, 1940 in the village of Chemolgan, Kaskelen District, Almaty region. In 1967 graduated from the Highest Technical Educational Institution at the Karaganada Metallurgic Works.

He is a Doctor in Economics, Academician of the National Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, International Academy of Engineering, Russian Federation Academy of Social Sciences, Honorable Professor of the Kazakh State National University of Al-Farabi, Honorable Member of the Academy of Science of the Republic of Belarus, Honorable Professor of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

From 1960 to 1969, worked at the Karaganda Metallurgical Works.

From 1969 to 1973, he was involved in the Party and Komsomol work in Temirtau of the Karaganda region. From 1973 to 1977, he was a secretary of the party committee at the Karaganda Metallurgic Works.
From 1977 to 1979, served as secretary, second secretary of the Regional Committee of the Party in Karaganda.

From 1979 to 1984, served as Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 1984 to 1989, he was a Chairman of the Ministers Council of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic.




Abdallah Ben Abdel Mohsen At-Turki was born on 4 August 1940 in Riyadh Province. In 1963, he graduated from the Sharia College in Riyadh Province and received the bachelor's degree in Islamic Law.
In 1969, he graduated from the Higher Law Institute in Riyadh and obtained the Master's degree. In 1972 in Al-Azhar University (Cairo) he defended thesis on Islamic jurisprudence foundations.
From 1961 to 1969, he was the Teacher of the Higher Scientific Institute, as well as the Dean of one of the faculties in this institute. He was elected as a member of the academic council of Sharia College in Riyadh.
From 1969 to 1975, he was the Dean of the Arab Language College in Riyadh.
In 1975, he gained the post of Provost, and later the Rector of Islamic University named after Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud.
In 1995, he was appointed as the Minister on Islam affairs, vakufs, appeal and moral, mentor of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran.
From 1999 to 2000, he is the Advisor in the Office as the Minister without the portfolio.
From 2000 to date, he is the General Secretary of the Muslim World League.

Born in May 21, 1935 in Moscow, in the family of clerical workers. In 1953 graduated from secondary school and simultaneously from musical school (choir and contrabass classes).

In 1957 graduated from the Moscow Seminary and attended the Moscow Theological Academy. In April 1959 (second course of the Academy) he was professed and ordained to Hierodeacon by Alexiy (Simanskiy), The Holy Patriarch of Moscow.

In 1961 graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy with a with a doctorate in theology. Proceeded as professorial grant-holder in the Moscow Theological Academy. In November 1961 he was appointed a lecturer in the Moscow Theological Academy, and then ordained to Hieromonch by The Holy Patriarch Alexiy I.

In august 1961 he was exalted to Hegumen by Biship Pitirim of Volokolamsk with laying on the cross with decorations and epogination, in October exalted to Archimandrite by The Holy Patriarch Alexiy I.

Since the opening of postgraduate course in the Moscow Theological Academy in 1963 Filaret became its head.

Birth Date 1953.

Education: Graduated with honours from the religious yeshiva (institute) "Kerem B-Yavneh" in Israel, which provided him with the title of Torah Expert and Rabbi of the District and the City.

Business and Public Career:
In 1983 he started his religious career within which he worked as the chief rabbi of North Tel-Aviv, chief rabbi of "Tifferet Zfi" Synagogue. He established and led the respected religious legal college "Beit Midrash Yemek Mishpat".
He is also the President of the humanitarian organization "Ham Ba Lev", a member of the "Jad va Shem" Council, etc.
He wrote the 4-volume book on the questions and answers of Israeli people regarding interpretation of Torah and Halakha "Miam a Halakha". His 2-volume book named "Maahala ha Haim" was awarded with the Silver and Platinum Prize from of the President Moshe Katsav.

ImageThe Most Venerable Professor Dr. Phra Dharmakosajarn is currently Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), Ecclesiastical Governor of Region II covering the provinces of Ayutthaya, Saraburi, and Ang Thong, Chief Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawat in Bangkok, and a member of the Secretariat of the Supreme Sangha Council of Thailand.

He was born on September 17th, 1955, in a village in Suphan Buri province, and entered the monastic life as a novice at the age of 12. In 1976, while still a novice, he completed the highest degree of traditional Pali Studies in Thailand, Pali Grade IX. In the same year, His Majesty, the King of Thailand, sponsored his higher ordination in the Royal Chapel of the Grand Palace in the temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Two years later, he received his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, with first-class honours, from MCU. He then entered the University of Delhi, India, where he obtained the Diploma in French, an M.A., M.Phil. and a Doctorate. His Ph.D. thesis, written in English and published as Selflessness in Sarte's Existentialism and Early Buddhism has been very popular and reprinted many times.

After receiving his Doctorate, he lectured for a time at MCU. In 1986, the Thai Sangha Supreme Council posted him to the Thai Buddhist Temple in Chicago, U.S.A. as a Dhammaduta (missionary monk).

He was born on 25 March 1929.

In 1952 he graduated from the faculty of political science of Gakuyushin University and started to work in "Lino Lines" Company.

In 1976 he became the general manager of the ship company Kawasaki and after 7 years became its director.

In 1986 he became the executive vice-president of "Air Service Kawasaki" Company.

From the position of the chairman of "Air Service Kawasaki" in 1990 he was elected as the main priest of Ise Temple. Election was related to the proximity of K.Kuniaki to the Emperor's Family.

In 2001 he became the Chairman of the Council of Heads of the Association of Shinto Temples in Japan. In this capacity he is the main Shinto of the country, conducts traditions related to worship of the Emperor.

Mohammad Said Tantaui was born on 28 October 1928 in Suleim Al-Sharkiya Village of Suhag Province (Egypt).

Having received secondary education in his native village, in 1944 he entered Alexandrian Religious Institute. After graduation he entered the faculty "Religion Basics" of Al-Azhar University and graduated from it in 1958. In 1966 he defended his doctor's thesis on the subject "Interpretation of Holy Koran and Hadithes of Mohammad the Prophet".

In 1968 he started working as a lecturer at the faculty "Religion Basics" of the Al-Azhar University. In the period from 1972 to 1976 he worked as a teacher in Islamic University in Libya. In 1976 he became the dean of the faculty "Religion Basics" at the branch of Al-Azhar University in Asut City. From 1980 to 1984 he worked as the head of the Koran Interpretation department at the Islamic University in Medina (Saudi Arabia). In 1985 he became the head of the faculty of Islamic and Arabic sciences of the Al-Azhar University.

On 28 October 1986 he was appointed at the post of the Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt and worked in this capacity 10 years On 27 March 1996 he became the Supreme Imam and Sheikh Al-Azhara (according to the protocol status Sheikh Al-Azhara is equal to the Prime-Minister of ARE). He is the head of the Supreme Council Al-Azhara, which determines the general direction of the organization's activity.

Doctor Ishmael Noko is the first African General Secretary of the World Lutheran Federation (WLF). He was born on 29 October 1943 in Zimbabwe where he went to school. He graduated from the South-African University in Pretoria, South Africa, as well as Zululand University. In 1971 he received the BA degree (Bachelor of Arts) and in 1974 the Master's degree in the Lutheran Methodological Seminary in Saskatoon, Canada. In 1977 I.Noko received the PhD degree at McGill University, Quebec.

During his studies in Canada I.Noko worked as a church pastor and a teacher at the university. From 1977 to 1982 he worked at Botswana University.

In May 1982 he was transferred to the World Lutheran Federation where he consequently worked at the Department of World Servicing, Church Cooperation, as well as of Mission and Development. In 1994 he was appointed by the WLF Board as the General Secretary of the Federation.

In the capacity of the General Secretary I.Noko is the highest executive person of the Federation. Apart from the administrative duties, his competence includes religious functions.

Thus, he played the key role in the process of signing the Joint Declaration with Roman Catholic Church on justification doctrine. Besides, he is responsible for relations with the Christian communities and other religions, as well as for relations with the states.
