Yesterday in Tokyo the Special Envoy of the Chairman of the Senate of Parliament - Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Director of the Committee for social and cultural development of the Upper Chamber Akhan Bizhanov held meetings with the President of the Japan Parliament's Chamber of Advisors Mr. Satsuki Eda, the management of the Japan Association of Shinto Shrines "Jinja Honcho" and the Japan Buddhist Federation.

During the meetings the Kazakhstani Parliamentarian extended to the Japan party the official invitations to the Third Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and acquainted the interlocutors in detail with main directions of the policy of the Head of our State on the development and flourishing of multinational Kazakhstan.

According to A. Bizhanov, Kazakhstan being an example of the successful model of the interethnic and interconfessional accord has rightfully become the venue of such a unique forum like the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions which gained the world recognition as an effective dialogue platform for peace and accord encouragement on the planet.

The Japan politicians and the religious figures spoke high of the contribution of Kazakhstan to provision of the interconfessional and interethnic accord on a world scale, wished the country's upper management the successful holding of the forthcoming Congress of the spiritual leaders.
