Today Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament, the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held a meeting with the Metropolitan of France Emmanuil within the framework of regular ninth Session of the Secretariat of the Congress conducted in Astana.       

Problems of further development of Nursultan Nazarbaev's initiative on establishment and strengthening of interdenominational consent and dialogue between the civilizations were discussed in the process of the meeting.

Having given regards to the address of the Patriarch Bartholomew, the Leader of Constantinopolitan Church, the Speaker thanked the discourser for active participation in work of religious summit.  

According to K.Tokaev's opinion, one of the most significant elements of the Congress is that besides religious figures famous politician also take part in it. 

Having appreciated highly the role of religious forum organized basing on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, the Metropolitan Emmanuil stressed the importance of the Congress as authoritative part of global dialogue between the religions and civilizations.  

K.Tokaev expressed his gratitude to the representative of the Chief Sefard rabbi of Israel for regular, active and meaningful participation in activity of the Congress in the process of the conversation with Meher Denino. 

The participants of the Congress have also exchanged the opinions on problems of further implementation of the initiative of the President N.Nazarbaev on establishment of religious tolerance, the dialogue and mutual trust.
