       This year, due to the change of the previous composition of the Secretariat of the Congress, the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Mami is appointed as the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress.
        With the view of preparation for holding the fourth regular Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the quality and high level, as well as to continue the constructive dialogue, which had started during the previous forums, the Secretariat is conducting respective activities.
     
In particular, on 20-21 June Astana will host the regular tenth meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress. More than 30 representatives of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Taoism and Shinto, as well as international organizations will take part in the joint meeting.
During the meeting, experts of large world religious unions and confessions will discuss the draft Concept of the Council of Religious Leaders, as well as the issues related to the exact dates and agenda of the Fourth Congress.
