Your Holinesses!
Dear participants!

Our meeting confirmed that despite the differences of religions and cultures common desire for peace unites all of us, the ruling principles of which would be safety, cooperation, mutual respect, equality, justice, tolerance, priority of the spiritual and moral principles. We have seen that through constructive exchange of views and work together we can solve many problems to overcome barriers separating people, successfully move towards achieving our common goals.
That is why interfaith and intercultural dialogue is becoming an increasingly popular and effective tool for building civilized relations between different parts of the world, an important factor in strengthening unity and concord across the globe.
It is remarkable that this fact is equally understood by all the representatives of religions and cultures who gathered in this hall. I am deeply convinced that this benevolent and constructive spirit shown by you will serve the same positive role in a successful dialogue at the upcoming fourth Congress.
Today the world is entering a new phase in its development. Associated with it specific political and economic turbulence poses new challenges, the main one among which is maintenance of stability and security, providing conditions for further advancement of human civilization towards progress. It is not easy to achieve this, but experience shows that with good will, reasonable compromises, concerted actions and mutual support, the world community has the potential for a positive solution of the indicated challenges.
I sincerely hope, our inter-faith forum will make a worthy contribution to this creative process, preparation to the Fourth Congress of which we have discussed at this session.
