Chairman of the Parliament Council of Global Religions Mission of the Parliament council of Global Religions is to achieve harmony amongst global religions and spiritual communities. William Lesher made a long way on promoting the global inter-religious dialogue. He worked in Geneva at the International Council of Churches; he was the President of Atlantic Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, the President of Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He is the founder of Chicago centre of religion and culture. A dynamic leader, Lesher is the initiator and advisor to The Common Ground for the Common Good, sponsored by the National Council of Churches, the U.S. Catholic Conference, and other organizations. He is a member of the editorial board of Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science. William Lesher has the BA degree at Wittenberg University in Ohio and Master's degree in theology of Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. |
