ImageChairman of the Council of Heads Association of Shinto Temples in Japan

He was born on 25 March 1929.

In 1952 he graduated from the faculty of political science of Gakuyushin University and started to work in "Lino Lines" Company.

In 1976 he became the general manager of the ship company Kawasaki and after 7 years became its director.

In 1986 he became the executive vice-president of "Air Service Kawasaki" Company.

From the position of the chairman of "Air Service Kawasaki" in 1990 he was elected as the main priest of Ise Temple. Election was related to the proximity of K.Kuniaki to the Emperor's Family.

In 2001 he became the Chairman of the Council of Heads of the Association of Shinto Temples in Japan. In this capacity he is the main Shinto of the country, conducts traditions related to worship of the Emperor.
