Birth Date and Place Born in Casablanca (Morocco) in 1948.

Education He graduated from the religious yeshiva (institute) "Otzar Ha-"Torah" in Morocco. He immigrated to Israel in 1962 where he studied in the yeshivas "Tifertet Tsyon" in the cities of Bnei Brak and Shlomi.
In 1970 he monitors kashrus in Naharia City. He was appointed as the Senior Rabbi of Megadim.
In 1982 he was appointed as a rabbi judge in the religious court of Bear-Sheva. He worked as the President of Petah-Tikva Court.
In 2002 he was elected as the Senior Rabbi of Tel-Aviv.
In 2003 he was elected as the Senior Rabbi of the State of Israel, "Rishon Le-Tsyon".

Business and Public Career: He wrote 4-volume book "Shema Shlomo" on the discussions of Jewish law, 2-volume reference book "Kerem Shlomo" on agricultural laws.
