Speech of Salman Al-Husaini Al-Nadvi, President of Jamiat-e-Shabab-e-Islam Indian Muslim Organisation

In the name of Gracious and Merciful Allah!
Dear Mr. Chairman,
Dear sirs,
I would like to take an advantage of this pleasant moment, for which we have met for the second time on the Kazakh land - the land of heroism, glories, bravery, boldness and generosity. We have gathered to congratulate the Republic of Kazakhstan, dear President and dear governing body for organizing of the II Congress.

If night was not replaced by day, if active efforts were not carried out on the implementation of this noble mission on rapprochement of the representatives of religions and attempts to assemble them in one place under one roof in an atmosphere of love, brotherhood and mutual respect, it would be impossible to hold the II World Session, the II World Congress.

Oh! Slaves of Allah and descendants of Adam, the Sacred Koran, the last book of the Most High, appeals to the representatives of religion, in particular people of Holy Writ, i.e. those who approve that the ground contacts the sky through the revelation granted by the prophet in whom they believe and try to follow them. The Koran calls everybody all for that common that connects them and says: "Oh, people of Holy Writ, let's agree to worship no one, except Allah, not to liken him to anybody and to choose a Lord except Allah. If you accept it then tell, we testify that we are Moslems".

Sirs and brothers,

These fine meetings, for which we thank the Government of Kazakhstan, are necessary and deserve honor as promote an acquaintance between representatives of religions, establishment of friendship between them, joint conversations, discussions and searches of all that can increase attachment, rapprochement, overcoming of misunderstanding, false representations, which are far from the truth.

At the same time, sessions should not be used for influencing representation of any religion, its bases and features. They should give religions freedom in their friendly, brotherly deeds, portending the good, appealing to security and peace, condemning everything that contradict the common provisions of religion, namely that denying of Allah, the Lord of the world, sacred writings, responsibility of the person. All religions, in particular Islam, appealed to the establishment of security and peace, forbade an encroachment on rights of a separate person and a group of people. It forbade any injustice and aggression, obliged to adhere justice and fairness, protection of human rights, recognition of truth without any differentiation between races, colors and nations.

Supreme Allah told: "Oh, those, who believed, adhere to fairness, be true witnesses before Allah even against yourself and parents". Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless and welcome him, in 10-th year of hidzhra that corresponds to the year 133 of the Gregorian chronology, declared the following: "Oh people! Allah has really removed from you arrogance... People - the sons of Adam, and Adam was made of clay. The Arab has no advantage in the face of non-Arabian and white above black, only by being devout". These are the principle of brotherhood and equality between people, non-acceptance of class division and divisions of people by origin, color or race, that Islamic appeal to all people was based, until all of them came to peace. Peace is prosperity, calmness and security to which Islam calls. Islam means nothing more than security and peace in the whole world.

Dear representatives of religions! Will you agree with me that all religions agree in such provisions as respect to a person, his high respect, recognition that he is above other creations? These creations have obeyed him but he has not obeyed them. People should not turn other people into slaves as they were born free. But not daring to say and feeling shudder of my heart, I am compelled to say to this dear audience that today our world, first of all those who own means of destruction and extermination, the state international criminal organizations have lost their minds.

 Their feelings are supervised by insuperable materialism. Satan has destroyed their minds. They have lost any respect and pity to humanity. They ceased to matter such concept as justice. They have ceased to distinguish people between those who attack and innocent people, between young and old people, women and children. They have crippled destinies of widows, orphans, old people, the weak. The powers that be eat the poor. Did really nothing remain from religion and sacred books, which could forbid similar and sharply condemn it? Shouldn't all representatives of religions tell to the one, creating evil: "Stop evil deeds" and to an aggressor, an oppressor: "Stop oppression and aggression"?

Dear sirs,

Dear Chairman,

I address you with a persevering request that we, from this assembly, appeal to mankind's conscience in order to revive it if it is dead, or to wake it up, if it has fallen asleep, and make it address criminal oppressors: "Treat the humanity faithfully, render them honour. Be afraid of your God's punishment who grants delay but does not overlook evil deeds and who is aware of the perversity of the despot.

Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds".
